So I have a Red Rock adapter and I am hoping to use some Nikon lenses that I already have around. The problem is, is that the lenses need to connected to a Nikon still camera in order to tell it to open the f Stop - seeing the lens does not have a manual iris.
I heard of "hot swapping" in the forum here. Basically, attaching the lens to a digital still camera, setting the f Stop and then attaching it to the adapter. But when I attempt that, the lens never stays at the f Stop when I detach it from the still camera.
Any suggestions?
Thanks guys.
