I'm going to hold off until the ZI (Zeiss Iphone) lenses come out. I want sharp pictures.
I'll also settle for some anamorphic glass.

I'm getting a pl mount and some red pro primes for mine and then I will tell people I shot my feature on an iPhone and get into canes.

The iPhone camera is impressively good for a cell phone camera. In a few years time this will have more relevance as integrated devices like this take off more and improve in quality. With a iPhone 4g with a 5 megapixel camera and better default lense, little $17 pocket attachments like this could come in handy.
iPhone is years behind the leading cellphone cameras. Check this out: http://www.gsmarena.com/sony_ericsson_satio_(idou)-2683.php

The camera on that phone looks pretty amazing. Other than that, there's not too many areas that could be argued where the iPhone really lacks... and that phone comes out NEXT month, so I am not sure how it's years behind...
But still. The camera on that phone is pretty stinkin amazing.

I shot this video with my old first generation iPhone: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=diSMMhf0w1s
Years behind as in the 3mp autofocus cellphone cams were out in 2005. And yes, we're talking cameras only. It's hard to argue iPhones usability/Apps.
