lenses/adapters that "communicate" with the af100

I am looking for an adapter-zoom-lens-combo that "communicates" with the af 100 (distance/ois/aperture).
For example
Tamron 17-50 f2.8 vc/Canon plus Novoflex?
Olympus 14-35/f2.0 plus MMF-2

I think there are few lenses that implement those features. I have an Olympus 11-22 that communicates to the AF-100 through a Panasonic DMW-MA1. It manages aperture with the wheel up front, and shows distance in the display. That's about it. It does not auto-focus or implement OIS. I'm pretty sure it has to be in the m4/3 or 4/3 to do any of it. I have Nikon with Novoflex and that's all manual.

I have two 4/3 lenses, the Olympus 14-35/2, & Panasonic/Leica 14-50/2.8-3.5. Neither of them communicate the focus distance correctly when used on the AF100, & I doubt any 4/3 lenses do.

I mainly use the 14-140 for that reason - but indoors it is too slow ... the x-zooms as well. Hopefully the new lumix 14-35 zoom will be faster. - But I`d prefer something like 17-50. But the tamron does not "talk" to the camera, right?

No adapter speaks the camera's language yet, except for the Four Thirds adapter. If you want a "native"-behaving lens, the only way to get it is with an M43 lens, or with a Four Thirds lens on a 4/3->m4/3 adapter.

The Birger adapter should eventually solve that question and turn all EF lenses into native-communicating lenses. But we don't know when that may be available.

will the vc (ois) work? it is "inside" the lens but I wonder how the motor of it is powered if the adapter is just a mechanical adapter

I occasionally use a Zuiko 14-54mm with the Panasonic adapter and at first I was happy that, even though its a vaifocal, I could zoom in, focus, read the footage in the finder, then zoom out and dial in the footage again. However I quickly discovered that the reading is not accurate - in fact it's way off and varies with different attempts (infinity can be a big problem.. using the scale in the finder, carefully racking just to infinity, can result in unusable images). This is a major weakness in the zoom lens choices that are available for the 100. I don't need or care about auto focus or aperture, but I would like for the readouts to at least be close since they aren't on the lens barrel.

Panasonic/Leica 14-50/2.8-3.5 - i have that lens, u can control iris + it gives you some image stabilization - yes ois here is really working with my AF101, maybe its not perfect, but it helps!
