lensa damaged

Hello. My lense is damaged by small metal impacts.

Fortunately i have another dvx100 which does not work but has the lense in perfect condition. How can i change the front lense from one to another?
Is it possible? is it worthy?

I would imagine a Panasonic repair facility could swap the lenses without much trouble. How did your lens get small metal impacts?? I'd seriously get a UV filter for protection if they are able to swap it for you.
 
A UV filter was one of the first things taught by my documentry teacher in film school , it's been burned into my brain
 
Swapping the whole lens is not a big deal, providing the front end is stll working (CCDs and preamps - they are stuck to the lens). It's probably a two hour job, I've seen it done before.
 
I thought it wouldn´t damage the lense since the sparks were hitting my hands too and i was feeling no pain.
