I have a whole bunch adapter rings similar to the Cine Mod from Duclos Lenses for sale. It brings the outside diameter of your SLR lenses to an industry standard 80mm so you can attach clip on accessories, don't have to change bellows on your matte box, have a common front filter thread of 77mm, and you can use actual cine lens caps.
I have them for lenses with 52mm, 58mm, and 77mm front filter thread. If you have a lens with a different filter thread, you can always buy a 77mm ring and use a step up ring from your lens filter thread to 77mm....

Will the original lens cap still attach while the ring is in place or do you need to get push on caps for them? Thanks
 
You can use 80mm push-on caps, or standard 77mm lens caps (all rings have a 77mm front filterthread)
