I have a tokina 80-200mm 2.8 that I bought used for a great deal.

Only problem is that its heavy so I will need a lens support to use it with my af-100/ 60D.

I don't currently have a lens support, but will buy one. Only thing is the lens is a push zoom and when you rack the focus the barrel moves. I'm not sure what to do. Will a normal lens support work (the moving barrel with focus)?

Or should I buy another rail system and use 2 camera mounts on one set of rails. One for the camera. And the other for the lens mount?

I just don't want to to waste money if the lens support will not work/ vice versa ( will work work).

(That is the lens)

ya its reasonably priced. But because this lens moves in and out when focusing. I think I will need a support that screws into the lens mount. Like the berkey. I don't think the lens will focus if you have a support that the lens must rest on.(since it moves sideways and front to back)

I guess that would work. If I just placed it right where I would screw the Berkey into. Thanks man I will try that out I think
