Lens recomendations for A7S/a6500 and gimbal

I just received Zhiyun Crane and since this is my first gimbal I'm looking for some guidance regarding gimbal/camera/lenses setup. I film weddings and usually work by my self so I don't have time to swap lenses and than balance gimbal again. Naturally I'm on the budget so I'm looking to get wrestle lens that I will be able to use in most situations. Currently I'm learning with A7S and 24-70 but I'm planing to purchase another body (a6500 or A7SIII if they announce it soon) so that I can leave one body on gimbal during the day and use it as a backup/static camera during ceremony/reception. My first thought was to pick up 10-18 or 16-35, but I'm wondering how good is auto focus and if I would be better of with manual lens.

Do you have good results balancing with a zoom? I've always had trouble with the center of gravity shifting and the zoom creeping.
If you're staying that wide, you definitely don't want autofocus on.

Well, I'm not zooming while camera is on gimbal. What focal length would you recommend for filming bride and groom on gimbal?

I'm not saying you'd zoom intentionally, but a lot of lenses won't stay at the same focal length when you start bumping them around.

Focal length totally depends on the situation. Having a few options is always best.

I like to use my gimbal with FF-equivalent focal lengths of 18mm to 28 mm

For the a6500, I'd greatly recommend the Samyang 12mm f/2.0 NCS... as long as you can live without AF. It's cheap, it's small(ish), it's fast, and above all, it's SHARP. If you can live with "focus before you record, then leave it there", it's would be my first choice.

Im going to throw this in.. the cheapo crap 18-50 sony 'kit lens'

super light, reasonable AF, do a few shots at 50 and they can look quite awesome, pull back to 18 for the regular walkie stuff

With the 5d update to the zhiyun crane, i was able to balance with a 24-70 tamron VC+ metabones - however i had to lock the lens at 24mm. However it struggled if i i tilted up or down to much.So far my favorite lens with the crane is the 24mm sigma 1.4 art.
