I noticed that bitrates are related to the quality of lens, I have shot samples from a FD 28mm and a 28mm Hexar with the same conditions that yielded different bitrates. Would you agree?
The Konica Hexar lenses were regarded as inexpensive kit lenses. I have a number of Canon FD and Konica Hexanon primes, and they're excellent quality lenses. To my eyes, the Hexanons are a bit sharper than the FD's at wide-open apertures.
