If you don't mind the gray market you might see some more price drops soon.

I must admit I imported my 12-35 from Hong Kong, saved me (after paying duty) £150 (approx $241).

i purchsed my 12-35 from hk for $1010 AUD posted. the 35-100 from hk goes for about $1250AUD also. Still quite overpriced IMHO but cheaper than RRP

Well it's interesting how prices stayed high until Christmas Eve. So they were obviously banking on that. I do agree the prices are too high.

I think the 12-35mm zoom price came down because of the GH3 kit price, with most places selling the GH3 + 12-35mm zoom for $2399 in Canada.

The best price in Canada that I've come across is this one: GH3 + 12-35mm Lens for $2,270
