Lens Options for Sony F3 (Abelcine)

don't know really, but at MTF website they say the adaptor has a "built in iris activation mechanism". But I don't now if it can electronically talk to the camera.

Don't be confused. MTF adapter is for (old) FD Canon lenses, not EOS (auto focus)... FD lenses are 100% mechanical and there is no electronics "exchange" between the lens & body... MTF adapter does engage the lever on the back of the lens, so it is possible to close the f-stop on the lens.

I am still on lookout to see who is going to announce the first EOS/Sony F adapter...

I did talk to Birger today on the phone: they WILL BE producing EOS/F adapter... It will be out as soon as AF100 "panic" comes down...

Tata, when I spoke to Mr. Tapa of MTF just two weeks ago, I specifically asked him if the Nikon version accepted all series Nikon lenses, including DX, electronic iris or manual. His response was that it worked with all. Is that not the case as far as you have experienced?
Thank you.
