Lens mount rattle

Hi all.
So finally I got today the FS100 and I am very excited about it.
I just notice that there is a rattle noise from the camera and after some investigation I found that the e mount lens outer ring has some free play.
Is that normal or it needs to go back to B&H?
I marked the ring in black

Nope definitely not normal, it should be solid.

Camera will be replaced by B&H.
Bummer! I really wanted to play with it this coming weekend.

Mine rattles too and has some free play. I raised some concern a while back. I even called Sony customer service. They pulled one off their shelf and confirmed that that model rattled a bit as well.

I really never had any technical issues with it, so I continued shooting. I have long since forgotten about this issue until seeing this thread. Anyone else care to weigh in?

I got the replacement camera and it is soled, no rattle.

I have the exact same problem as the OP, as I stated, at first I learned to live with it…but now it's driving me crazy. Should I send mine back for service? Why do you think that ring wiggles on some models and is there a way to tighten it up? :huh:

Mine is pretty loose too. I tried to tighten the screws on the front but they were already tight as could possible.
