Lens help w/ Anamorphic & Fish

Well, I now realize that the DVX lenses are WAAAY more expensive than that of another brand because of the 72mm ring.

So... I was in preparations to buy a 16:9 adaptor for a project which requires it.

But, the clients want fish eye shots.  Century Optics makes the one I want to rent.

Is there way to use the anamorphic with Fish Eye?  Or should I tell them I'd have to letterbox the shot with fish eye?

Letterbox. You can't use the anamorphic in any other way than directly on the DVX lens.

Cool thnx.

Now I have to figure out how I'm going to edit a 4:3 720x480 shot into a 16:9 anamorphic encoded sequence in the same timeline. I will be editing in FCPHD.

welp... I just tried to throw some 4x3 letterbox footage in a 16:9 timeline... It wills tretch the 4x3 to fit the 16:9 screen. But I can definitely tell the difference.
