Lens for video

Hi.
I'm Italian, sorry for my english.
I would buy a new lens fot my d90. i will use it for shooting video.
At the moment i have a 50mm 1.8d and a 18-105 kit lens.
I need a wider angle lens because i would use it on a steadycam.
I'm considering:
- the Sigma 20mm 1.8
it's a manual lens and it has a big aperture but it's a 30mm (35 mm equivalent) and it isn't so wider.
- Tokina 16-50 2.8.
It's a good lens and i could use it also for shooting photo. It's wider then sigma 20 mm but i don't know if
it's possible to set the maximum aperture (2.8) with this lens. It's good on steadycam?
I would get noise free video.
Which lens do you suggest me?
Thanks

A lens that has been used with some success is the Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8. You should know that the wider you go with the D90, the more its compression falls apart because of too many details.
