Lens database

Does anyone know of a lens database that has lenses from multiple manufactures and multiple mount types all in one list? With MFT and the Sonys NEX mount now anything can be adapted to work and such a list would be very beneficial to everyone.

I haven't seen one... yet. Makes my head spin thinking about how huge that list would be though; if you think about all the possibilities of manufacturers and mounts—covering several decades. Plus lens choice in my opinion is subjective; I think we grab a lens based on what we (as individuals) like about its characteristics.

This may be a start.

I find the user surveys at photozone.de very useful
