Lens Cleaning?

Probably a dumb question but how do you guys clean your lens?

I have a UV filter over my original lens but I had used it for a few weeks before I got it so there is some dust on the original.

Whenever I try to clean the UV or original with lens cleaner and a lens cloth I often get an oily look and have to spend about half an hour trying different lens cleaners and a combination of tissues and lens cloths to get it clean without a mist over it.

But even then it looks perfect to me and then I point the camera at a bright window and I get blurrry spots on the lens.

For most instances (not in direct light) the lens looks perfect but I can never get it one hundred percent clean.

Any help on how you guys keep your lens clean would be great!

What you are doing is great, mine is never 100% clean either , what you need to do is
make sure you are using a clean lens cloth when you clean the uv filter , so you dont get any oil on your lens.
and keep your lens cap on so your lens stays clean:)
