What's up guys?

I bought a Gh1 but it did not arrive yet, but I'm thinking about new lens already. I shoot wedding videos in Brazil and the market is dieing for more artistic videos, I try this already with the cameras I got, but gh1 can provide better results.

What lens do you suggest?

if you don't mind Would be nice some suggestions Like 50mm 1.8 nokkor for altar for exemple. I'm pretty new to this.

This is almost impossible to answer, but I can offer a couple suggestions. The 20mm Lumix pancake is probably a great investment. Fast glass with an effective FOV of 40mm (compared to 35mm stills), native mount and autofocus. People rave about it.

A fast 50mm is considered by most a must-have. If you want to wait and spend the money the native M4/3 lens from Noktor looks awesome. F 0.95!!!! But for a lot less, you can pick up an old manual Nikkor S 1.4 and an adapter on eBay from Ciecio7 out of Poland.

I find my 28mm Nikkor rarely leaves the GH1, but that might change when I get the 20mm Lumix. You also might consider a fast-ish zoom for wedding work. Maybe something with a Nikon DX mount (I think that's what it's called) and the more expensive adapter from Ciecio that controls the aperture with a bolt. Tokina, Tamron, Sigma, and Nikon all make several models. Something with a constant aperture of 2.8 would be helpful. You'll still want to get an on-camera LCD light panel to boost the light at weddings, but you probably have that already. Others might want to chime in on zoom choices.

Sounds great. It seams that the better option is to buy adapters and go to other kind of lens, here in Brazil is hard to find m4/3 lens, but very easy Canon/eos or Nikon.

This adapter you mention can control aperture en canon/eos lens??????

no, no. I know its manual but eos lens, if I´m not mistaken, have aperture controlled by the camera, so if adapter can allow me to control aperture it would suit me just fine.
