Lens Adapter for Rokinon Cine Lenses

I recently purchased one of the new Rokinon 8mm T3.8 Cine lenses. It's a great lens, I got it with a Canon mount and I have been using it on my Canon DSLR. I'm thinking about buying the 35mm T1.5 but I want to use them on my AF100. I don't have any lens adapters yet so I am curious what lens adapters other people are using with these lenses. I'm going to order the lens with a Canon mount so I can use it on my DSLR as well as my AF100. I'm just not sure what Canon to Micro 4/3 adapter to buy. Most of them on the market are pricey because of the electronic iris control needed for canon photography lenses, but these Rokinon cine lenses have an iris ring on the lens and no electronic auto focus so I don't see the need for an adapter like the redrock livelens or other similar adapters. Also the cheaper solution is to buy an adapter with an iris ring built into it, but that is also unnecessary with these cine lenses, because again they have their own declicked iris ring.
Can I save a ton of money and just buy a simple adapter with no electronic parts? The problem with that is I can not find anything like that on B&H for a canon EF mount. The only one they have is a Novoflex and that is for Canon FD mount and that is over $200. I'm looking to spend under $100 for a simple adapter but all I can find are cheap foreign products on ebay and amazon. For example...
http://www.amazon.com/RAINBOWIMAGING-Adapter-Olympus-Panasonic-USD27-99/dp/B003150B6O
I would rather buy a quality product that does not have to be shipped from overseas. I have read a lot of bad things about Rainbow Imaging and I can't find the adapter I want from a reliable source. Does anybody know anything about this Rainbow Imaging adapter, or know of a better similar adapter? What adapter are you using with Rokinon cine lenses on your AF100 or other M4/3 camera? Are there any down sides to using one of these cheap adapters compared to some of the more expensive options on the market? (With the Rokinon cine lenses that is)
Thanks I appreciate your input!

I don't use Rokinons, but I do have 3 Canon EF L lenses and a Tokina 11-17 EF mount.

At first I used the Fotodiox:
http://www.amazon.com/Fotodiox-Mount-Adapter-Thirds-Cameras/dp/B003EAXT5G
which looks slightly similar to your Rainbow find.

Some users had less than ideal fits with the Fotodiox, but mine was nice and snug.
Then I got the Kipon, and eventually, the LiveLens for electronic control.

But others may have better advice regarding Rokinons- best of luck.

Thanks for the suggestion Paul but I don't see a Canon to M4/3 adapter on Metabones site.
And groveChuck good find on the Fotodiox. Your right it does look similar to the Rainbow Imaging adapter. Both seem to have good and bad reviews on amazon. I wonder which is better. I wish a reputable company would make an adapter similar to these!

Nope, Metabones doesn't do an EF to MFT adapter nor does Voigtlander. Both quality adapters (I use Novoflex and the Metabones Nikon-MFT adapters). Novoflex doesn't do an EF-MFT adapter either. Cheapest quality adapter is the Adaptimax at $380 so not cheap. My problem with the Fotodiox and Rainbow Imaging adapters is the tolerances are hit or miss and I don't like that aluminum on the camera side mount. Aluminum is a terrible material for an adapter (too soft) and tends to wear over time, exacerbating the tolerance problem. Novoflex uses aluminum on their adapters but I suspect it's harder 7075 aluminum or they use a hard coat anodizing. My Novoflex shows little wear compared to the Chinese adapters I've owned.

That said, and this might not help your situation but I would buy the Rokinons with a Nikon mount. The Nikon mount is much easier to adapt. More selection in adapters and adapting it to Canon EF is as simple as using an inexpensive shim adapter. The shim adapters are chromed brass (like a lens mount) and hold up much better. Tolerances can still be hit or miss but Cinevate makes a nice EF to Nikon shim adapter. You can just leave them on your lenses if you like. This is the route I took and I shoot both the 5D/7D and AF100. Works a treat.

PS. If you bought that Roki 8mm recently you might see if the seller is willing to trade out the lens for a Nikon mount version. Just a suggestion.

Rainbow and Fotodiox are the same company. I have a few of them and they are fine for the price. For Nikon mount I went with the Novoflex. Solid but expensive.

You should get one of the cheap Rainbow/Fotodiox models and try it out. I have this one from Amazon. Its a Fotodiox and only cost $22. Cant go wrong really. If you dont like it then you have a spare. I use mine and it's fine.

Of course. I forgot we were talking Canon and not Nikon.

Thanks everyone for your input. I called a photography store in my area and they say they have a Canon ef to m4/3 adapter for $30 so I'm going to go check that out. I doubt they would carry the Fotodiox/Rainbow adapter so maybe they will have something of higher quality. I will update on what I find
