Leightweight stands for LED lights?

Hi,

I have a couple of Z96 LED lights and I need some cheapish stands to support them.

I need them as small and leightweight as possible as I carry my equipment in a bag to locations.

Any recommendations?

I have a negative one: don't go DIY PVC, it's not worth the few dimes you'll spend, let alone your time

i usually take a couple of HDV-Z96 lights to use as a back light or as a little accent light. I've found that the most lightweight solution was to use a couple of microphone stands paired with a 3/8-16 to 1/4-20 adapter so it can take the light directly or with a small ball head.

a combo like that works for the small Z96 lights for me, i put a small bag at the bottom to work as a "sandbang" and you're good to go. The stand weights almost nothing to carry around.

I also use a small ball head at the top to be able to reposition the light.

Haha! I'm in Singapore, so shipping from China is fast! Be warned though - those guys at Meking were sloww... they took nearly 3 weeks to ship my stuff over - but they blamed it on the Chinese New Year... everything shipped eventually - all well packed, every item worked well.

All the best... cheers!
