LED-only lighting kit

I wouldn't trust it. I've done a fair bit of business via China. A lot of the claims for output are about 200% inflated. Besides, "1800 Lux distance 2m" is not impressive and it's NOT a fresnel. it's more of an ellipoidal cross-dressing as a Fresnel. Not that it's bad but I'd probably buy it as a host and replace the emitter and some of the electronics. Also seems the emitter is a surface mount SMD. Nothing like what a fresnel tungsten or HMI would look like. I may buy that to gut it though :)

What type of difference would you see between a 3200 Lumens led work light and a light like the 5600K cool light LED?
I know most prefer the cool light option, but just wondering on how much of a difference in color and if something with 3200 lumens is workable for something. Maybe to light a green screen, hair light, back light.
I might just have to go and try it out myself. Always looking into other types of lighting at a cheaper price.

3200 lumens doesn't necessarily indicate anything in terms of color. That's just a coincidence that the number is the same as the number of kelvins for tungsten lighting, it could be close to daylight balance.

Nothing, and I mean NOTHING beats a proper tungsten system especially if you have Mole Richardson gear or Arri. Other than heat and power draw, Mole Richardson is the finest quality ever built. I have lights that are maybe 60 years old that work perfectly and I can have them serviced by Mole if needed. Price per pound you just can't beat it. I will NEVER ever sell off any of my Mole gear and I have LOTs of Mole gear.

For interview work I have some fluorescent lights. Made in China but man they work great and 2 1600 watt equivalent panels cost me about $500. They take the same Orsam bulbs as the Kinos.

Coollights.... Make an LED 1000 watt equivalent fresnel and keep it around $800 with a decent CRI and you will gain a wider fan base. I know you're a sponsor here and I have bought a few product from you. But that 150 Metal Halide head needs an update.
