Hey Guys.
Well, I know this film is gonna be torn apart, in its technical aspects, because I'm not even pleased with it, but I shot it over the course of 3 days about a year and a half ago. This is what you get for studying film at a school where film majors take only 4 classes in film.
The story is one that is almost entirely auto-biographical, as I had to get out what it was like to lose a brother to war. Sometimes our art is all we have to keep us sane.
But hey, I consider myself more of a writer than a director or shooter. Please let me know what you think of it. This posted version, for some reason, when I put it up in its entirety, the audio was off, but when I split it in two, the audio matched. Crazy stuff. And it's a copy of a copy, so the video quality isn't up to par.
This was my first short film I'd shot on my Canon XH-A1, may it rest in peace.
Even if you didn't like it, I'm always looking to improve, so do let me know what you thought of it.
