Upload your dvxfest leaders here.

You are required to begin your video with Towerfans winning CGIFest Bumper video.
Filename is CGIF2Logo-TowerFan.mp4 and you can download it here(CGIF2Logo by Towerfan).

Closing time is 12:00 pm Pacific Time, December 14, 2009.

After voting closes you'll be required to upload your entry, without the bumper, for addition into the dvxfest leader pool.
Details will be provided when appropriate.

Any questions, please ask.

Good luck.

Well, I experimented with 3.The first was a grunge, the second was a blatant ripoff of the 1929 Universal Leader. So I couldn't use that, but it was fun. I tried to save it by doing another version but for legal reasons there's no point in even going there.

I'm not sure if I'll upload the grunge one or not. It's not really my forte.

Anyways, if anyone's a bit late, go ahead and upload anyways. We're not going to be that strict about the deadline. Basically if you see the 'Viewing' announcement page, your too late. :)

Good luck.

Do you have time to eat? If so, try working instead of eating and go to bed hungry!

:) Sorry Josh, I couldn't resist the comeback. I understand though. Me too.

I missed this one too and I've no excuses. Stuff happens, it's all cool. Looking forward to more of your updates. Thanks for stopping in.

No one else huh? Well, I guess I'll upload my grunge one then just to keep Jason company.
'Preciate it man. I wish I could post my 1929 leader. Maybe I'll put it up on vimeo later without the dvxuser text so they don't get sued;) . Just one of those legal things I wish we could have gotten around but we couldn't.

Alrighty, I'll have mine up in a couple hours as well. :)

//here's a grab of the one that didn't make it. It's a parody of the 1929 Universal Logo Leader. My brother would like it anyways.

It starts with the plane travelling around the globe followed by the text with a wipe. The clouds moving in the background.
I thought the original was pretty cool.

Was mine the only one?

At this time your the only one but sometimes people procrastinate until the last minute.

I'll toss my grunge one in also. I don't know what to think about mine but maybe someone can use it. It's better than my famous 'Blue Blobs from Hell' anyways, that much I know, lol. Maybe it's not bad, I don't know.

Ooooh, I'd better get that compressed up then.

I know. I just want to mention again I gave 6 months for people to get something in. This is not for my benefit, or for the CGIFest's benefit. I'm a volunteer remember, and a reluctant one at that, from the beginning. It's for the dvxuser fest filmmakers. The ones that perpetuate this site. The ones we are here for. The ones we watch and learn from.

I must say I'm disgusted with the response we've had regarding this fest.
That goes to all dvxusers who I know could put in up a couple days out of their time but didn't. Why is that? What's the deal?

We'll have the viewing up after January to give Larry a break over the holidays and we'll see you then.

Thanks for the interest from everyone else and sorry we couldn't get a better response.
