LCD viewfinder?

So, could I get any feedback about this?

For the fun of it I bought one frome China for a couple of dollars (under 15 i guess) and it is really not good - the image is highly pixelated and blurry.

Since I can't really try out things before I buy them (nothing is on stock here), how do the better LCDVF work out for you? The zacuto for example? Is the picture crispy clear?

I have the LCDVF for a Canon T3i. It's sharp and great for pulling focus, but the screen resolution and refresh rate on my T3i becomes less than desirable when using one of these loops. They show motion and panning issues from the low refresh rate of the lcd (stuttering effect). It has nothing to do with the LCDVF, but how the cams display the pixels. For some reason you don't notice this stuttering effect at all with the naked eye.

I tried the Zacuto and it was even worse with it's 3x magnification factor. The Zacuto is also much heavier and nowhere near as convenient as the magnetic attachment on the LCDVF.

Just my $0.02 on viewfinder magnification with the T3i.

Cheers,
Pete
