okay, i'm hoping this is a really easy fix and i feel silly for not being able to figure this out:

My LCD display and the viewfinder on my dvx100a don't match up! if i i'm shooting, one will look super dark and one will look way washed out!

have you ever heard of this? ive looked through all my settings and have yet to find a fix!

thanks so much!!

There is a setting for the brightness on the LCD. I don't have my camera in front of me, so i can't tell you exactly where to find it. But, scroll thru the menus and you should be able to locate it. You want to leave it at the factory setting. I believe your best bet is to "initialize" your scene file setting and I think it'll go back to the original setting.

I always use the viewfinder over the LCD if possible. The viewfinder gives you a much better image than the LCD. The image on the LCD is good for quick framing or if you're moving around and can't keep your eye up to the viewfinder.

Use the LCD for convenience and the viewfinder for quality. I've never used any camera where this isn't the case.
