LCD + Viewfinder - 100A

I just got a DVX-100A and the LCD and viewfinder stay on at the same time when the lcd is opened. is it possible to chance so the viewfinder shuts off when the door is opened? or is that a 100b thing?

I think all DVX's can do that. Go to Menu>Display Setup>EVF Mode. On for when both are on, Off for just on when the LDC is closed.
 
cool thanks guys, I know its an easy thing to find out, but i'm asking for a friend and I don't have the camera in front of me to check myself. so i thought I'd ask and then relay to him.
