GH4 LCD touch screen repair - estimate?

Hi all

Touch screen functionality on my GH4 died. Not a huge thing since this has been moved to B/C cam status, but I like for things to work. Due to some bad repair experiences with Panasonic, I'm estimating it'll be a waste to send it to them for assessment, as they'll refuse to repair it or want to replace the whole thing with a refurb at great-than-retail price and no warranty....

....or, am I completely wrong and has anybody had this issue fixed for something approaching a reasonable cost?

Find a busted camera on ebay that has a good display and change them.

About 400 US, sent to the Panny repair facility, IIRC at McAllen tx.

Yup. I would find one used if its me. When I had it replaced the used prices was still around 800-1,000.

I've seen GH5 used for around $800usd, I think that was around the time of the GH5s and before they s really hit the streets.
