lcd rev button help

help ,sold my flip for my redrock and need the in camera flip ,book say sw mode enable lcd rev . i have done that but nothing,it is not blue or anything. i thought maybe it just flips the out signal to my monitor , but no ,thats up side down as well Am i really the stupid or what.!!!

It will only flip it for the camera's LCD, nothing else.

After setting LCD REV in the menu, did you press the LCD button on the camera?
