LCD Monitor Went Dark

Just got the ex1 and after my first shoot I accidently hit the LCD on/off switch under the handle causing the lcd to go dark. Freaking out I thought I had a bad LCD. Fortunately it was just a case of fat fingers hitting the LCD on/ off switch. This little switch is next to the shot transition button on the upper operation panel under the handle.

This turns off the LCD. But when the LCD is in the off position there still is some picture bleed thru on the LCD screen. So FYI incase you lose the image in your LCD check the on/off switch.

What's really nasty is that the Bars & Tone button is right next to the Dispaly/Batt info button. Hit that by mistake when recording and ..oops!
 
Sony has thought of that - the bars won't engage while the camera is actually recording. Only when in standby.
