LCD lags. Does it matter? What to do?

When I shut of my camera, some of the info is stil showing in white stripes.
I hope someone understands what I mean. I am not sure if this is serious, or if it's normal, but I am a little worried.

I'm not sure this is the same issue, but when I turn off my DVX100b some of the info looks faintly still present for a few seconds. While I can't explain it in very elaborate terms, the electronics of the LCD must discharge all of the current used to power it and what you're seeing is just the fading out of that power.

Without seeing it first-hand it's hard to say, but as long as it doesn't stay on there for longer than a few seconds you shouldn't have anything to worry about.

Sorry, I maybe wasn't as clear in my above post. To my knowledge, there is nothing abnormal about that happening.
