Curious if anyone else has experienced the following and whether it is normal.
When I look closely at my HVX LCD display I notice some small 'jittery' movement. A small shake - especially on horizontal lines (bottom of the screen where picture meets black, the white 90% display marker lines, and other elements within the picture).
This behavior occurs when the camera is stationary, OIS on and off. It can be seen when the camera is set to record in all formats and in shots with even exposure.
I don't notice the shake in 4:3 or much in the letterbox modes. Mostly in squeeze.
I brought some 480i/24p dv footage into a final cut anamorphic sequence and didn't notice the shake (but it was hard to tell as the stuff I've recorded so far has been handheld). However, when I slow the footage down I notice severe movement at the very top of the image. Looks like the top line is wobbling - it's not a clean edge to the image.
So... anyone experience this? Know what's causing this behavior?
Thanks in advance!
