LCD info

When I rotate the LCD towards the subject all the LCD info disappears like for instance the zoomed level meters. Is there a way that the info does not disappear?

Also when I toggle between normal and mirror I don't see any change (this settings is not intended when using a relay lens to flip the image up down?).

I just tried it on my camera, it does the same thing, so you don't have a malfunction.
I assume they do that so the viewer is not confused by all the stuff we are use to looking at.
I don't have any suggestions on how to show the info, I just wanted to let you know that it was
the way the camera normally worked.

Thanks for checking, maybe something for a next firmware update.

My understanding when they first invented the flip over viewfinder was that it was for a field reporter, working solo, to make sure he was in the frame, so therefore they don't want a cluttered display. Another technological "advance" to help lay off workers.
