LCD Flip out

Can anyone recommend a good shading option for the flip out LCD monitor.I had difficult time shooting exteriors the other day. The way I have the cam rigged, the b/w eye piece isn't really an option to use off the shoulder. Many thanks in advance!

I've got the same Hoodman and it does help, but in very bright conditions the flip out is near useless. Thats the main reason I bought the Zacuto EVF. My EX1 handles bright days much better for some reason.

I'm using a Cinetactics Screen Hoodie. I bought it years ago for my DVX100A and been using it on different cams ever since. Built to last and works well.

I have a Petrol PMH-3 LCD hood I bought back when I got my HPX that works great with the AF100 when I need it... though usually in bright light, I just go with the EVF and just use the LCD for my waveform and a quick color check (as I use the EVF in B&W mode).

When shooting in the desert I just put a black cloth over me. Wasn't pretty and hot but did the trick.

I wish there was one available for the AF100 like the one Sony made for the V1. It clamped onto the screen and shaded on three sides. When done you could fold the it down over the screen (it was held closed by magnets) and then close the screen LCD side out. Never had to take it off the camera.
