LCD click noise ? or I'm paranoid?

Hi,

since last week I have questioned about F3 build quality many times.

Then it makes me curious about another issue that first when I get the camera I never worry about it.

When flip the LCD out, there is click noise just before it reach its perpendicular with the camera body.

And theres click sound again just after pushing it back a little bit.

The noise sound like a lock click but the monitor does not seem to be lock in any position.

I know there is a hinge at the joint that will flip and turn the light of LCD off.

I had been tried to think there's a purpose but why does it have to make sound ?

It's ok if it's just a noise but it's not if there's something about mechanic that can leads to the bigger issue.

Maybe it's normal but I'm just paranoid and blind :(

Anyone can confirm it's normal? or just me?

Thanks and happy Easter :)

Not saying it is good but it is normal, unfortunately...

Get an EVF if you don't have one yet and only use it for viewing menu items or to use in tandem with your EVF so see the onscreen settings and histogram. You will still have to endure the disconcerting sounds when you open and close it but you wll be relying on an external viewfinder for your framing and focusing lessening your reliance on the flip out LCD.
