LCD Brightness settings? - Anybody change it?

I notice that the LCD brightness defaults to 0, which is already quite bright. Anybody change their setting? If so, why? If not, why not?

I'm trying to get my head around the setting and how altering it one way or the other would affect shooting video, particularly in daylight versus indoors.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I do have some relevant info after testing. I find -3 to be the most accurate to what I see on my calibrated computer LCD. This is the most important when shooting in low light. Higher settings will make you think the video has enough light, but when you view the final video outside the camera, it's noticeably darker. In regular and bright light, this isn't as much of an issue except in shadows. Since I use a loupe while shooting, I don't have any issues seeing the dimmer camera LCD, though people who just look at the LCD by itself will definitely have problems outdoors.

I use +3 if it's really bright outside. But I think Blue Bomber has a point that the footage might be under exposed afterwards haha
