Lav transmitter keeps falling off talent

Hi guys,

I'm using the standard sennheiser g3 lav. We attach the transmitter on the talent's back belt or pants, but it keeps falling off. We are documenting his life and he moves around a lot. What other options are there to attach the transmitter to the talent? I looked online for possibly a body wrap with a pouch but wasn't able to find anything.

Thank you for your help.

First off, what is the state of the clip that comes with the TX? Is it bent, distorted, or weakened in some way? If so, it should be repaired or replaced.
Second, what do you mean "belt OR PANTS"? Does the talent not always wear a belt? Is he surfing or bull-riding or a sumo wrestler or something?
Is there any reason you couldn't simply use a length of gaffer's tape under the belt and wrapped around the TX body? Are you attaching/detaching it many times a day?
What about a "fanny-pack" or some kind of leather pouch that you could put the TX into? Remember, of course to allow the antenna to hang out properly.

A picture is worth a thousand words. Show us how you mount the transmitter.

A cheaper option to the Neopax or Remote Audio chest or leg harness is to wrap the transmitter in an 'Ace' type bandage on the wearer's thigh or leg.
In any case, keep the antenna from touching the wearer's skin. Performance/range will be diminished considerably.
