I am just learning how to organize 100's of files and copy, transfer and backup.
I have a folder on my laptop titled HVX 200 where I store all P2 card data. I always view the card on P2 viewer, copy over to folder, verify its contents and them format the p2 card.
I was transfering (Move) the data from the laptop to an external drive. I came back to discover the external drive was full and the transfer incomplete. (In the future I will Copy the files until I verify they moved properly).
I cleared out files and resumed the process.
Now I cannot find 3, 4gig P2 cards worth of data. I have searched by looking at all MFX files, specifically by date. The files are nowhere to be found.
Are they lost, maybe hiding in an obscure folder, or could the names of files been the same and possbily over written?
Has anyone else had this problem?
