"Latchkeepers", Ep4 of Stranger Things

Hi folks -

This is my first post on the boards. I've been a lurker on and off for a bit, but recently wanted to really swing by and say hallo.

As an introduction to me and my work, take a peek at this episode of my series Stranger Things (available both on the Internet and video-on-demand).

Stranger Things Ep4: Latchkeepers (divided into 3 acts)

This episode was shot by Joe Stauffer (of Broken Wings Productions) in Wilmington, NC. We shot on a Panasonic HVX-200 with a Redrock 35mm lens adapter.

The episode stars Quentin Kerr, Rob Covington III, Nate Panning, Cari Moskow, Shaun O'Rourke, and William Yelton, among many talented others.

This was absolutely amazing.
I've spent the last 2 hours looking at every single episode

If you ever shoot in Chicago. I'd love to help out.
Does this have private funding? self funding? how are all of these amazing projects
being created?

I just watched Ep4 part 1, and it's really excellent. One of the best HVX-level indies I've ever seen. Very well written and acted, which is, after all, the ball game. But it's also very nicely shot, edited, scored...

I'll be watching more episodes, but this time because I'm drawn into the story. I'd call that a huge win, as such efforts go. It's rare to see work of this kind that transcends the "cool HVX example" status and actually stands on its own two feet and entertains. Which is, of course, the real ball game : )

Hats off, gentleman...big time...

+1. Definitely a pro skilled filmmaker showing how you can use low end cameras to achieve a very high end product

Thanks! Awesome to hear you dig it. :D

We've been self-funded for the first five episodes. I just finisihed up the first feature script for the series, and I'm looking for outlets for that now. My plan is to either secure an agent to help put a package together or, barring that, I'll just raise the money myself and self-distribute. We've already got a built-in audience, so it won't be like starting fresh.

Thank you, sir. We've prided ourselves on being "story-first", and then continually improving our production values as more people got interested in the show and wanted to help.

For this particular episode, I have to send major thanks to the film community in Wilmington - they worked tirelessly and professionally to help me create such a great episode.
