On Sunday I'm renting a 5d MKII to shoot video of my sister's wedding as a R&D test/wedding gift - mainly for documentary/montage type video, not wall-to-wall event coverage. So far I've got the camera and:
1 tripod
1 monopod
2 batteries
2 8gig cards
1 28-70mm 2.8 canon lens
1 70-200mm 2.8 canon lens
Anyone have any last second tips or pointers for my shoot? I'll be shooting with a DVX100a set on a tripod as a B-cam and would like to mix the footage if possible. Should I shoot in 30p 16x9 for the DVX & uprez for HD and then conform to 24p on export of the final video? Any and all suggestions are appreciated, thanks.
