I need to get the p2 footage to my g5. and now i cant seem to hookup my external hardrive that i use on my g5 to my pc.

thanks

Just copy the files onto an external FAT32 hard disk (FAT32 can be read by both windows & mac systems). Then plug that external hard disk into the Mac and import the files.

Barry where can i check the status of my book arriving. i ordered it after purchasing the hvx 200

FAT32 is one of Microsoft's file systems that goes back to the DOS and early Windows days. The original MS-DOS file system was FAT, and acronym for File Allocation Table. That was folowed by FAT16 and FAT32, both of which addressed shortcomings in the previous version and the ever-growing size of hard disks. FAT32 is the most recent (and last) version of the file system, and used by many digital devices such as flash memory (thumb/pen) drives, digital still cameras, and video cameras.

FAT32 can be read and written on both the PC and Mac. HPFS can not be read or written by Windows. NTFS can be read and written by Windows, and read by the Mac. That makes FAT32 the logical choice for cross-platform access.

Are you talking about ordering it from dvxuser, or from panasonic's website? If from panasonic, I don't know how those get tracked. If you ordered it from here, send me a PM with your paypal transaction ID and I can look it up, although you should allow a good 5 to 7 days for US delivery, 8-12 for international, and 12-16 days for Canada.
