Lasers + CMOS Chips = Bad

Thanks for the warning! I know eventually I would have killed a cmos sensor or 2 if I didn't see this...

I am seeing some damaging videos to CCD's also... Anyone know if its more or less prone to damage?
 
I wondered about this kind of damage the first time I shot a guy who was welding with an arc welder. I really wasn't sure if any damage would happen, but it survived okay. I wonder why a laser can affect it but the arc welder won't?
