Large HDMI Monitor

Any recommendations on a large (20-inch +) HDMI monitor that's cheap? I don't need it for focusing, color, etc. I'm using a computer monitor right now, but the monitor's power converter is built in. I'm looking for something that uses an external power adapter so that I can power it with batteries.

None of the places I have checked online say what kind of power the monitor takes. And someone told me they don't make monitors or TVs any more with external power adapters.

I have a 10-inch monitor on my camera rig for focus assist, etc... I want a large monitor on a stand for crew/director. When indoor or someplace near power, I've been using an computer monitor with HDMI and it works great, no issue. But I need something I can run off Sony NPF batteries. I have a 17-inch 4/3 monitor that uses an external powerbrick. I can plug a Sony NPF battery adapter into it and power it with that, but it's too small and 4:3. I can't seem to find an 20+ inch 16:9 monitor that uses an external powerbrick. All the monitors I have looked at have the AC adapter built into the monitor.

Something I can power with this:

My larger field monitor is an OSEE LCM156 which is a 15.6" 10bit display. For what it's worth I don't think you will get much run time using an NPF battery with a larger monitor like this. I use IDX batteries.

I would figure my amp hours from your battery vs new monitor purchase power draw before committing.

For example, I have one 7" monitor which eats batteries for lunch, the other does not. It depends on the monitor.

dc in - check the product images

i have an old version of this (22") that served me well as an extra monitor

Specs say it draws 40 watts, no other power info.

I take a 24" HDTV on set, adapted a swing-arm VESA to fit on a roller stand. I wouldn't mess with it where there's no power though. I'd rather use a 2nd monitor set to 1:1 and peaking if focus is a concern, frame with another.
