Large greenscreen

Kino flo megas can do the job too. Hang 3 of them from above and put 3 on the deck for uplight. Or if the green screen has to transition into the floor hang 6 of them from above in two rows. Spacelights can work but they can cost a fortune compared to Kinos.

I have a 12 x 20 screen; generally I've done a diffused dual biax flo on each side, and more on the ceiling pipe grid (maybe every 3 feet or so).

I even bought an 18' long DJ truss for spaces with no grid. This is also handy for backlighting the talent for separation.

Before I had a lot of kino knockoffs, I used all kinds of stuff - big-ass spiral bulbs in DIY fixtures across the ceiling - but for 20' wide, you need to get them up high.

Space lights are nice if you are in a studio equipped with them.

I still have a few of these around but haven't used 'em in ages… they broke down very flat. The bulbs kinda suck color-wise but they're fine for green screen.

DIY 400-HID daylight spacelight - don't know that I want to make another one of these, but it's pretty cool, about the equivalent of a 3-4k tungsten with full CTB.

This is what i'm thinking:
4x 4x4 Kinos to light the green
4x 4x4 Kinos to back-light the talent
2x 1.2 HMI through 2x 12x12 light grids to front light it.
Doe sit make sense?

1 person but tons of movement. The person has to go from one end of the greenscreen to the other.

I would add on quite a bit of length for your goal post with the Kinos. The last time I did something like this we had two rows of 4 8' x 4 bank Kinos, I think the green screen may have been a bit longer than 20' though. Nonetheless, I'm pretty sure the lights extended beyond the edges of the green screen, and at the very least the backlights for your talent should if you want the lighting to look identical on both ends of the green screen. Might want to make the goal post out of ladder truss instead of a single black pipe. to span that long of a space.

Not sure HMI's would be necessary in a studio setting also.

Here is the pic from the job.

We ended up using 6x 4x4 kinos on the pipe and 2 extra kinos on the sides.
Everything went fine but if i were to do it again i would have changed a few things.
I would have replaced the kinos lighting greenscren with 5 or six 1k further from the screen.
Since instead of daylight i would be going with tungsten i would also replace the frontal lights with 4x 2k (instead of 2x 1.2 HMI)

In essence 4x4 kinos was a total overkill and i should have placed those lights much further from the screen - they were about 4ft away with 1(!) bulb on.
