Laptops on Ebay

[Chamber005]

Yeah, so -- laptops.

I'm not looking for some crazy hardward or anything. Just something that can work with XP, etc.

Lots of the laptops are only 100-150 bucks.

I've never had problems with anything I've purchased from Ebay before.

What do you guys think?

For what use?

For what use?

Just general XP office stuff. I might also be looking at one that can handle Adobe After Effects 4 (requires 1.5GHz, 2 GB RAM and an Open GL 2.0 graphics card).

I'm just wondering if anyone has ever purchased a laptop from ebay (and, especially, these "refurbished" ones that seem to be the bulk of what's for sale).
