Has anyone tried the Lanparte long lens support http://www.coollcd.com/lanparte-long-lens-support_p877.html? It seems affordable and the quick release is nice.

Lanparte stuff is fantastic quality. Just as good as the big boys Shoot35, Gini, Redrock etc.
Also COOLLCD is the best company to deal with ever!

Yup, I stock the lens support on my site and use it with my telephoto lenses.
Nothing but good feedback from my customers about it as well, which is always a good sign.
As analog said, Lanparte stuff is very high up in terms of quality so rest assured you're getting good equipment.
