Lanc button for FS700 shoulder rig

I recently ordered a simple push button lanc start/stop trigger from lanparte, and it does not trigger start/stop on the FS. Does anyone know of a simple button I could mount on the handle of my shoulder rig. Id prefer not to use the FS700 grip. manfrotto 585 lanc controller works with fs700. I found 1 for $30 (old stock now discontinued). I'm sure current manfrotto would work, but more $$.
