Laguna Beach- Dusk to Night.

It's more like a short film than a montage.

I shot it one day and edited it the next. Filmed with a Panasonic HMC150, and a Hollywood DOF 35mm Adapter (hollywooddof.com) using 50mm and 135mm lenses.

Nice choice of music. I think it really goes well with the images.

Looks like you already predicted it might be a bit long -- I agree. It could probably be condensed and be more effective.

I've never heard of that DOF adapter. Gives a pretty raw image which I like. Looks like it uses a static ground glass, no?

Thanks man. I agree with your point on the effectiveness if it was shorter. I think I could spare cutting out atleast like two-three minutes or so.

The pictures are def. a bit raw, most of that look is from the 135 lens I was using, it's a bit grainy as you can see in some of the shots. It's also stuck at a f/4 so that adds to the grain and overall grit-look of it, as well. Bought it for like $40, so yeah, haha. But it's a vibrating/spinning glass adapter, if that answers your question.
