LAEA3 Adapter

They didn't "get rid" of anything, they offer 2 versions to choose from, one with (4) and one without(3) like before.
The functions and performance each allows for depends both on the camera model and lenses.

If you refer to the 7RII you'll still need the LA-EA4 if you want to AF screw-drive lenses.
 
Do you happen to know if the Tamron 150-600mm A mount still needs the LA-EA4 on the 7RII? Thanks!!

From the posted info as it has an internal focus motor I'd think not, the LA-EA3 should be enough. Don't take that as a fact though ;)
