Went to my "bosses" house last night to drop off an edit and pick up a new one, and low and behold, he had a new copy of Final Cut Studio 2 and a brand spanking new HVX waiting for me.

Now, technically it is his camera, but seeing how I head up the video department for his Audio/Video company (he does audio), it basically means I have a HVX.

Excited? yes.

I'm glad I've been paying attention to the HVX section for awhile now... should make the learning curve much easier.

Hey RCB, congrats. That would be exciting. Just wait till you walk around with it in public. All sorts of people approach you.

Sunday I was at one of those Star Wars conventions filming some footage, and General Grievous walked up to me. Not a guy in a costume but the sound editor for Skywalker Sound who did the voice. He's got an HVX and wanted to share the love.
