I just got my new poplular science magazine and in it they mention the Canon H1 as being such a groundbreaking camera...."its so great this" and "its so great that". It even said it had 24p recording. I just thought it was terrible that they featured that camera in the mag instead of the HVX....which is rediculously more groundbreaking...for reasons you all know. I just wondered if anyone else noticed a lack of press for the HVX...especially comared to the H1. Is it just that the Canon is so slick looking or what? Wheres the love for panasonic?

It's that the Canon is a) new, and b) available. The Canon grabbed a lot of press attention because it was completely unexpected, and it's also supposed to be available very, very soon -- maybe within a week or so.
The HVX will have its share of magazine covers as well, but it's still around 7 weeks from being available.
