GH4 'Lab Review Reveals 10bit Flaws in Vlog + FREE GH5 LUT'

Does FCPX correctly interpret the converted ProRes 422 V-Log video?
In DaVinci I have to use ProRes 444 to get the data levels to be interpreted correctly.

Not sure about your files. I never had a problem with FCPX and V-log native files from the GH4.

When recording externally the luma is off due to the 0-255 to 16-235 difference.

It does with the GH4 and using mov. Not sure about the GH5.
If I use ProRes 444 the blacks begin at 128 (32 for 8 bit) and the whites end at 768 (191 for 8 bit), converting with ProRes 422 the numbers will be off regardless if I set data or video in the Clip Attributes.

Edit: 768 not 756

Off in what way? Is it similar to the luma flag issue when using an external recorder? I had to create a special plugin for FCPX to deal with the shift to get v-log on the GH4 to have the correct luma range.
