Award winning film and television director with projects in Hollywood and China is looking for a part-time assistant in Los Angeles to begin work immediately. Opportunity to work on the DVD launch of an award winning film that premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. Applicant will work closely with director to develop an internet marketing strategy for target audiences. Work will be hands-on in a fast-paced environment and will lead to bigger opportunities in co-productions in the rapidly expanding Chinese film market.
Ideal applicant is organized, efficient and has the drive to overcome obstacles. Strong computer skills are a must as most work will involve e-mailing, internet research, and Word documents. A savvy Mac user with skills in Photoshop and web design would be ideal. Experience in marketing a film using the internet would be great.
Must have own car and flexible schedule. Will work mainly in the Marina Del Rey area. Pay is negotiable. Meals will be provided during workdays.
